Sunday
: Casablanca – Rabat (100km)
After
breakfast, departure to Casablanca; The economic capital
has the largest port in Africa. Guided tour of the
residential area of Anfa, United Nations square, Habous
area, the Royal Palace, outdoor tour of the famous
Hassan II mosque, ending by the famous corniche.
Lunch (optional) in a sea food restaurant . After
lunch departure to Rabat , the administrative capital
of the kingdom: visit of the Hassan tower, Mohamed
V Mausoleum, The Royal palace, gardens and Kasbah
of Oudayas then a little stop over by Challah’s
Necropolis. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Monday
: Rabat –Meknes – Fez (220 km)
After
breakfast, departure to Meknes. A guided tour to discover
the Ismaili capital, El Hdim square, Bab Lekhmiss,
Bab Mansour one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco,
the Royal Stables, Moulay Ismail mausoleum and mosque.
Lunch (optional). Departure to Volubilis and a guided
tour of the roman ruins and the holy city of Moulay
Idriss. Departure to Fez then dinner and accommodation
at the hotel.
Tuesday
: Fez
After
breakfast, the full day is devoted to visit Fez and
the Medina and its markets, discovery of Medrassa
(Islamic school) Attarines, the largest and one of
the most beautiful, then the Nejjarine square with
the magnificent fountain decorated with mosaics, wood
and plaster carvings. Lunch (optional) in a former
palace of the Medina. In the afternoon, stop over
by the Royal Palace and taking pictures of its golden
door. Afterwards, a discovery of Merinids tombs where
you see only few remains of their civilization and
from where you get a great view of the city surrounded
by old walls. The day ends by a surprising visit to
leather and carpets factory. Dinner and stay over
at the hotel.
Wednesday : Fez – Beni Mellal –
Marrakech (485km)
After
breakfast, departure to Marrakech passing by Ifrane,
a famous ski station located in the middle Atlas and
surrounded by rivers in the heart of a great forest
of cedar. Few kilometers later, a stopover in Azrou,
a famous Berber village with its handcraft cooperative.
Continuation to Beni Mellal , stop for relaxation
and lunch (optional). Continuation to Marrakech. Stay
over and dinner at the hotel.
Thursday
: Marrakech
After
breakfast, the whole day will be devoted to the visit
of Marrakech called “ The Pearl of the South”
. Morning historical visit : Marrakech old imperial
city formed since1062. You will discover the Menara
gardens, the majestic koutoubia which dominates the
red houses, old Palaces and one of the largest palm
groves in Morocco. You will also visit the Saadians
tombs, the Bahia Palace, house of Ba Hmad the major
vizier which is dating from the late 19th century
. lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, the second
part of the tour starts by visiting Jemaa El Fena,
Heart and the open theatre of Marrakech, passing by
the medina’s amazing souks with the bright colors
of the Medina, black-smiths, dyers, spice shops where
you will feel the matrimony of thousands of fragrances,
Traders and carpenters, tailors and merchandisers
of traditional dresses. Fantasia dinner with folk
show (optional). Stay over at the hotel.
Friday
: Marrakech – Casablanca
Breakfast
at the hotel. Free morning in Marrakech for personal
exploration. Lunch (optional) in an Arabian Palace
in the Medina. Departure to Casablanca via the high
way . Dinner and stay over at the hotel.
