2 : Fez - Taza - Oujda 340 Km
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by minivan with
driver to Oujda via the city of Taza which is a small
city developed around a fortified land by the Berbers
during the X Century. Due to its strategic position
between the Rif mountain chain and the Atlas mountain
chain, it became a very attractive place for many
people coming from the east who wanted to invade Morocco.
Lunch on the spot (optional).
Arrival to Oujda and visit : Oujda, located at the
boarder with Algeria, was built in 1994 by Ziri Ben
Attia; This city kept its specific and strictly traditional
aspect such as : The kasbah, the three fountains,
Hammam El Bali with an Andalusia style, Beni-Ouattas
which are the Mérinides ruins as a Medersa
which is a symbol of the cultural importance. Dinner
and overnight at hotel.

3 : Oujda - Bouarfa - Figuig 380 Km
After breakfast, departure on the way of Bouarfa a
crossroad city between East, West, South and North.
It has a continental semi-desertic climate. Orientation
tour of the city and lunch (optional).
Then, departure to Fguig, a city of 56.000 km2. The
reputation of the city is due to the existence of
very old historical monuments , a large variety of
landscape, oasis, mountains, sandy dunes and huge
and magnificent palm groves which are the biggest
in the country and a real attractive touristy site
(more than 100.000 palm trees, dates and hundreds
of different fruit trees). They are irrigated by spring
water and dwells.

4 : Figuig - Errachidia – Erfoud 480 Km
Early breakfast and departure for 5 hours driving
to reach Errachidia by crossing many landscapes of
nearly dead vegetation (many off road portions).
Pic-Nic lunch on route
Errachidia conserves till nowadays its patrimony of
old Sijilmassa the city martyr, founded in the VII°
Century. This famous city and was the economic capital
and cultural of the countries located between North
and South African countries, Europe and Middle East.
Continuation towards Erfoud reached after one hour

5 : Erfoud - Dunes de Merzouga 45 Km
Breakfast and free morning for relaxation.
Departure to Merzouga reached after 50 minutes drive,
for lunch (optional) on the spot .
Afternoon, tour (optional) on camel’s back with
possibility of meeting the nomads caravans.
Setting at the camp site (Berber bivouac accommodation),
free time to explore the nice landscape around the
sandy dunes until the magnificent sun set admired
on the top of the dunes.
Experience a dinner and night under Bedouin tent at
a camp site “Bivouac” at the foot of the
Merzouga sandy dunes.

6 : Dunes de Merzouga - Midelt - Fez 480 Km
After Berber berber breakfast at the camp, departure
to Erfoud and Midelt where arrival is estimated around
noon time. Orientation tour of this small town and
lunch (optional) on the spot.
Afternoon, departure to Fez by crossing a large variety
of beautiful landscapes including the desertic Anti-Atlas
chain mountains.
Stop in Ifrane, the station ski resort (called the
Suiss city) located in the cedar trees forest and
at the foot of the mountains reaching up to 3500 m,
Continuation to Fez via the fertile Saiss plain.

After breakfast, start a full day visit of Fez, the
1st Imperial City, including :The Medersa (Islamic
University), the Karaouine Mosque from the Outside
and different markets of very special Fassi ( related
to Fez) handicrafts.
Lunch (optional) in an Arab house in the old medina.
Afternoon continuation of the visit including :The
Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the Jewish district
called Mellah, Bab Boujloud, one of the most beautiful
gates of the Medina of Fez, the ruins of Merinides
with a very nice panoramic view of the old part of
the Medina.

to Ouarzazate by crossing many fortified Berber villages

8 : Ouarzazate - Télouet - Marrakech 210 Km
After breakfast, visit of Ouarzazate, the starting
point to the southern parts of Morocco. This city
est famous by its Movie Studios, its famous Kasbahs
Tifoultout and Taourirt. Then drive to Kasbah Ait
Benhaddou considered the well preserved and beautiful
Kasbah in the south, it is a Unesco World Heritage
site.
Visit and lunch (optional). Then, departure by off
road towards Telouat via the Ounila valley. We will
continue our journey by crossing the Tizin-Tichka
pass (2260 m alt) covered by snow a long period of
the year.

9 : Marrakech
After breakfast, visit of the Pearl of the South :
la Koutoubia built at the same time than Hassan Tower
in Rabat and Giralda in Seville during 12th century,
the Saadian tombs dating back to XVI century, the
Bahia Palace, the Menara gardens and pool. Lunch at
hotel. Afternoon, visit of the souks, the Medina and
end this visit by the famous and unique Djemaa El
Fna square where life never stops. Free moment for
you to stroll around.
Optional : Typical dinner under Caidal tents at the
famous "Chez Ali" restaurant, enhanced by
the performance of several folkloric troups representing
different regions.
